The Final Journey
The Peaceful Pet Farewells vehicle is lovingly prepared to allow your pet the most dignified final journey. We can personalize this to your family's wishes (displaying a photo of your choosing instead of our Rainbow Bridge picture) and you are welcome to light (an electric) tealight candle, spend a minute of silence or read a message or a poem there.
Please make sure if you have a drive, that you leave it free for us to reverse along in our discrete, unmarked vehicle. This way, you and your family are assured as much privacy as possible at this sad time. To remain sensitive to the last moment, our vehicle has a soft close boot.

Preparing for the final journey
To ensure you have time to say goodbye without feeling rushed, euthanasia visits are typically scheduled for around 45 minutes, though they may take up to an hour if needed. Once your pet’s peaceful passing has been confirmed, we gently begin preparations for their final journey.

For more details on what to expect during the home visit, please visit our FAQs section.
STEP ONE
After your beloved companion has peacefully passed and we’ve created or collected your chosen memorial items (such as paw or nose prints, and hair clippings), we carefully prepare the Euthabag beside them. Everything is handled with the utmost respect and gentleness.*

* For pets under 20kg, you may opt not to use a Euthobag, but instead lay your pet in their favourite blanket - providing it is large enough to fully wrap them.
STEP TWO
If you wish, we can place one of their favourite blankets or throws inside the bag, wrapping them in something soft and familiar for added comfort and warmth.

STEP THREE
With great care, we gently position your fur baby in the centre of the Euthabag and, if desired, cover them with their blanket so they are cozy and at rest.

STEP FOUR
You’re welcome to include a personal touch — a letter, note, or one of their favourite toys — to accompany them. These small gestures can be deeply meaningful in saying goodbye.

STEP FIVE
When you feel ready, and only when you're ready, we respectfully close the bag and prepare our vehicle for the final journey, ensuring your friend is treated with the dignity, care, and love they deserve.
