From Hungary
to Yorkshire
I grew up and trained as a veterinary surgeon in Hungary. After graduating, I spent four years working in a busy small-animal emergency hospital before moving to the UK in 2008.
I lived and worked in the south of England for nine years before moving to Yorkshire in 2017—and I have never looked back. I feel completely at home here and love the people, the countryside, and exploring it with my dogs.
How Peaceful Pet
Farewells began
In 2020, when the pandemic brought my locum work to a sudden halt, I began thinking carefully about what I wanted the next chapter of my veterinary career to look like. I created a mobile veterinary service, initially offering general home visits to pets and their families.
Through those visits, I soon realised that elderly pets and those approaching the end of their lives needed this kind of care most. Being able to give them time, care for them in familiar surroundings, and support their families felt like the most meaningful part of my work. In 2022, Peaceful Pet Farewells became dedicated exclusively to end-of-life care—and I knew I had found my calling.
Meet my Furry Family
Clients often ask whether I have pets of my own. I share my home with Rosie, Tiny, Lilly and Penny—four very different little personalities who keep life interesting.
